MAGIC Banana Ice Cream


I am still recovering from my tonsillectomy, and have been in so much pain lately, the only thing I want is something cold on my throat to relieve the pain.

However, I am determined to lose weight while recovering, not gain weight, so Ben and Jerry are NOT allowed anywhere near me!

I decided to try making banana ice cream using ONE ingredient, BANANAS! Yep! This magic fruit can transform into smooth, creamy, low calorie, dairy-free, and good for you ice cream in just a few easy steps....

Ingredient:
4 ripe (but not overripe) bananas


Optional:
Mix in ingredients- I like a bit of cinnamon and honey.
(I guess you could add Oreos, peanut butter or chocolate chips, but then you ruin the low calorie treat so try to refrain!)

1. Cut up the bananas and place in a bowl.


2. Put in freezer for 3-4 hours, until the banana slices are rock hard.

3. Throw bananas in a food processor and turn on high. Watch as the bananas go from crumbly, to a magic creamy state!



4. Add a touch of cinnamon and a drizzle of honey.


5. Serve now, and it will be soft like a soft serve frozen yogurt in texture, or, freeze and store, and it will harden more like real ice cream.
