Biscuits for Frank.

Let's face it, the main reason any of us go to Red Lobster is the biscuits. Cheesy, garlicky pillows of deliciousness that seem more of a main course than their "catch of the day".

Alas, I don't eat seafood so I have no desire to go to RL any time soon, but this biscuit recipe is completely reminiscent of them, and curbs a craving or two.

This recipe is so good, I actually traded it for cannoli cake (which was ridiculously devilish). Let me know if you try these and if you agree!

Ingredients: (makes 6 biscuits--- because any more than that is just naughty.)
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
3 tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons of butter melted in microwave with 1 clove of garlic chopped into it. Easy.

1. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder) then work in butter until crumbly.

2. Add milk and cheese and stir until it forms a sticky dough.

3. Drop dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese is starting to turn golden on top. DO NOT overcook!

4. Turn your broiler on and broil the biscuits for an additional 2 minutes until slightly brown on top.

5. Remove quickly and then use a pastry brush to brush on your topping 2-3 times. The butter will absorb into the biscuits.

6. Serve warm for best results!
