Sea Salted Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. Cray.

This recipe combines my three favorite ingredients. Sea salt, dark chocolate, and (yum) peanut butter.

Put these on your must-make list.

1 bag dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon canola oil
1/2 cup of light brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon butter, melted
sea salt
muffin tin (I made 12, but wish I made mini muffin tray size, which would yield 24)
cupcake liners

1. Pour chips in a microwave safe bowl and add oil. Microwave without burning chocolate, about 45 seconds. Stir until liquid, and add one tablespoon of chocolate to each cupcake liner, using the back of a spoon to coat the sides.

2. Put in freezer for 10 minutes until firm.

3. While waiting for the chocolate to firm, make filling. Stir butter, peanut butter and brown sugar until combined.

4. Remove tray from freezer and add one tablespoon of peanut filling to each chocolate cup. Pop the tray back in the freezer for another 10 minutes.

5. Remove tray and use melted chocolate to coat a thick layer on each cup. Working quickly, sprinkle with sea salt to taste.

6. Freeze overnight, then take out of cupcake liner, and store in airtight container in the fridge... if they last that long.

Enjoy nut lovers! :)
