Baby it's cold outside...AGAIN! DIY Hand Warmers

Ugh! It's cold outside again!

This super easy DIY is a great way to use up fabric scraps....and keep your hands warm while the temperatures take a dip tomorrow.

To make a set, you will need:
4- 4" squares of fabric
sewing machine
pins
uncooked rice
small funnel
pinking shears
scissors to trim strings

1. Pin the fabric squares wrong side facing.

2. Sew a 1/2" seam, leaving 1" open to insert the rice.

3. Using the funnel, fill the pouch 3/4 of the way full. Pin the hole so the rice does not slide out and sew to close. Cut any loose threads.

4. Cut the edges using your pinking shears, which not only make them look super cute, they help the fabric from fraying.

5. Place in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and stick them in your pockets to keep things toasty. Enjoy!
