Spit Happens! DIY burb cloths

Spit happens.

As a mother of three, I can attest to this statement first hand. These easy burp cloths are absorbent, adorable and best of all, handmade. (I made 4 in less than an hour!!)

All you need is:
Scrap fabric
terry cloth material found here
sewing machine
iron

1. Cut one rectangle of fabric and one rectangle of terry cloth 18 inches by 7 inches.

2. Pin the fabric right sides facing, and sew 1/4 inch seam, leaving 4 inches unsewn. Cut corners.

3. Turn piece inside out, so right side is out, and pin 4 inches closed.

4. Sew another 1/4 inch seam.
This will close the hole and finish the piece.

5. Press with an iron, allow to cool.

6. DONE! What a great welcome baby present! One that will definitely be well used, and looks so adorable with the bandana bibs I made. Perfect pressie!
