Teacher Gifts: Stamped Tea Towels

It's that time again...end of the school year and start of another summer season.

Every year, my kids and I DIY something for their teachers, as Emma and Sara love crafting and sharing their talents with those they love most....just like their momma.

These tea towels work up quickly and can be paired with a cute mug or bag of loose tea for the perfect "thank you" gift.

You will need:
Tea towels/flour sack
Fabric paint in various colors
Cut vegetables like celery, potato, apple and more
Paper towels to cover your surface area

Check out some results made with lemons, celery hearts and potato here:

After you have stamped the towel, allow to dry completely then heat set the towel for 10 minutes in the dryer. This will allow the towel to be washed and the paint remain permanently.

Wrap in twine and enjoy!
