Pumpkin Patch Rice Krispie Treats

It is still Pumpkinpalooza over here! This time, the flavor of pumpkin and spice merged with my favorite treat, rice krispie squares.

To make a 13x9 tray,
you will need:
-non stick spray
-parchment paper
-3 tablespoons of butter
-bag of marshmallows
-1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
-1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
-1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
-1/3 cup pumpkin puree
-6 cups cereal

1. Spray the pan and parchment paper. Set aside. Press the pumpkin puree in a paper towel to remove moisture.

2. Melt the butter in a large pan on low heat. add the marshmallows and stir until liquid. Add pumpkin.

3. Add the vanilla and spices and stir until well combined.

4. Turn off heat and add rice cereal. Stir until well coated.

5. Spread the treat in the pan. A great tip is to spray your hands lightly with non stick and flatten gently.

6. Allow to cool then cut into squares. Decorate with pumpkins for a cute little patch.
